Faculty
The Faculty of Harris Institute for the Arts is comprised of 56 industry professionals from various disciplines within the Music Industry. They are complemented by the expertise of a wide range of Guest Lecturers.
Alumni
Alex Baird RAM 1994/95. Executive Producer - Playmedia. Specializing in creative web design and interactive online video. Also a recording artist with the release of her debut CD "ish" in 2000. Has also written a song on the soundtrack of the feature film "Silver Man", starring Eugene Levy and Daniel Baldwin.
Scott Lake PEP 1995/1996. Independant engineer/producer. Previously chief engineer at Phase One Recording Studios - Toronto from 1997 - 1999. Discography of over 50 engineering credits to date with artists like - Big Sugar, Lori Yates, Thrust, Maestro, Keith Richards & Ron Woods, Boomers and Kim Mitchell to name a few.
David Ramsahoye PEP 1995/1996. Senior Audio Engineer - IMAX Corporation. Previously (1997 - 2001) front of house engineer for CITY TV's Breakfast Television and engineer for Much Music live & interactive series.
Sean Macrae PEP 1998/1999. Employed as a Mixer using Protools with CTV and affiliates (Discovery/TSN) since 2000. Was nominated for a Gemini in 2001 for best sound in an information/documentary program or series.
Karen Dinardo PEP 1998/1999. Interned with local engineer/producer Karen Kane. Shortly after she hooked up with Nick Blagona - world reknown producer (Deep Purple, April Wine, Tom Jones, Bee Gee's, Sting, Tea Party to name a few.) assisting him on a variety of projects which still continues today. Also currently engineering/producing other local up and coming artists independantly as well as some teaching on the side.
Jamie Appleby RAM 2000/2001. Marketing Manager - Wind-up Entertainment Canada Inc.
Lance Reckzin PEP 1992/1993. Employed at Harris Institute since 1993 in various roles. Studio Manager, Technical Director and currently Director/Registrar.
