Application Procedure

All applications should include:

- A completed application form
- All transcripts of previous education (High School, Post Secondary) Photocopies of originals are accepted. Minimum entrance requirement: Ontario Grade 12 OSSD or equivalent
- Cover letter/résumé
- 2 letters of reference (sealed please)
- $100.00 application fee


Enrollment Process

- Issue letter confirming receipt of application
- Review applications for completeness
- Confirm prospective student has attended an info session & tour
- Review applications for eligibility
- Prospective student attends interview with the Program Director
- Issue letter confirming acceptance of successful applicants


Term Start & End Dates for 2006

March 19, 2006 - June 30, 2006
July 17, 2006 - October 27, 2006
November 13, 2006 - March 2, 2007


Other details

Full time applicants are required to confirm enrollment with a tuition deposit of $500.00* due immediately following notification of acceptance.

Acceptance is contingent upon the semester applied and interviewed for. Applicants wishing to defer their enrolment to a future semester other than the one applied and interviewed for, will compete with other applicants for a seat in the programat that time.

The balance of tuition is due twenty-one (21) days prior to commencement of the term Students utilizing financial assistance should contact the registrar to confirm documentation has been received by the school.

Schedules of class times are confirmed first day of the commencement of a new term.

International Applicants: As Harris Institute is a registered private post-secondary career college in the province of Ontario, Canada, we are required as part of our government registration, to request that international students or students with transcripts from outside of Ontario, supply us with comparative education documentation. This is a means of determining an international applicant's academic equivalency to Ontario academic standards.
